പൊന്നാനിക്കാരന്‍. 1978 മുതല്‍ മാതൃഭൂമിയില്‍. അറുപതു തികഞ്ഞ ആഴ്ചപതിപ്പ് എന്ന പേരില്‍ മാതൃഭൂമി ആഴ്ചപ്പതിപ്പിന്റെ ചരിത്രം പരമ്പരയായി പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. അന്‍പതുകളിലും അറുപതുകളിലും ഇന്ത്യന്‍ കായികരംഗത്ത് നിസ്തുല സംഭാവനകള്‍ നല്കിയ വനിതാകായിക പ്രതിഭകളെക്കുറിച്ച് അന്‍പതാണ്ടിന്റെ പാദമുദ്രകള്‍ എന്ന പേരില്‍ മാതൃഭൂമി സ്‌പോര്‍ട്‌സ് മാസികയില്‍ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച ലേഖനപരമ്പരയ്ക്ക് പ്രശസ്ത സ്‌പോര്‍ട്‌സ് ജേര്‍ണലിസ്റ്റും വിഖ്യാത കമന്റേറ്ററുമായിരുന്ന കോമാട്ടില്‍ രാമന്‍മേനോന്റെ സ്മരണയ്ക്ക് ഏങ്ങണ്ടിയൂര്‍ വോളിബോള്‍ അക്കാദമി ഏര്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയ കോമാട്ടില്‍ രാമന്‍മേനോന്‍ സ്മാരക പുരസ്‌കാരം ലഭിച്ചു. തിരനോട്ടം എന്ന പേരില്‍ ചിത്രഭൂമിയില്‍ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചുവരുന്ന മലയാള സിനിമാ ചരിത്ര പരമ്പരയ്ക്ക് 'അല' പുരസ്‌കാരം ലഭിച്ചു. പ്രസിദ്ധീകരണത്തിന്റെ പല കാലഘട്ടങ്ങളിലായി ചരിത്രത്തെ മാതൃഭൂമി എങ്ങനെ സമീപിച്ചു എന്ന് വിശദീകരിക്കുന്ന പംക്തി ചരിത്രപഥം എന്ന പേരില്‍ മാതൃഭൂമി ആഴ്ചപ്പതിപ്പില്‍ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരികരിച്ചുവരുന്നു. ഭാര്യ: വി. ഉഷ-സബ് ഡിവിഷന്‍ എഞ്ചിനീയര്‍-ബി.എസ്.എന്‍.എല്‍. മകള്‍: പാര്‍വ്വതി-എസ്.ബി.ടി, വി.ലക്ഷ്മി-വിദ്യാര്‍ഥി.
